The major cloud providers--such as Amazon's AWS, Microsoft's Azure, and Google's GCP--each offer dozens of separate services. These services can be quite useful, but sometimes understanding just how much they cost can be difficult. In this talk, we will focus on Microsoft Azure, getting an understanding of how pricing works for different services. This talk will help demystify some of the trickier aspects of the Azure pricing calculator, show cases where alternative configurations can provide similar levels of service at wildly different prices, and give you insights on how to keep that cloud bill as low as possible.
