Getting Stuck in the Cloud
ABSTRACT
The major cloud providers--such as Amazon's AWS, Microsoft's Azure, and Google's GCP--each offer dozens of separate services and label them with terms like IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. This talk will provide an introduction to Microsoft Azure, including important terminology and key concepts around cloud-based service development. We will also look at several reference architectures, discussing the services involved as well as why they make sense.
