ABSTRACT
Working in the technical world often feels like being on a treadmill: you need to keep moving just to stay where you are, and if you don't, you eventually fall behind. Even worse, it seems like new technologies pop up every day, demanding our attention as the hot new thing everyone must try…at least until the next hot new thing hits the scene. In this lightning talk, I will share time-honored advice on how to read and learn more efficiently, remember more of what you learn, and choose wisely what to learn and when.
